The LVPEI has trained one administrator, four vision technicians, three ophthalmic nurses, one biomedical technician, one OT technician, one MRD assistant and one stores & purchase assistant of CPEH. The LVPEI has given the trainees enough scope to learn & earm the skills required in each discipline. Apart from the training at base hospital, the administrator and vision technicians are much benefited from the peripheral postings at Toodukurthy, Mudhol and Karamchedu. The administrator was given the opportunity to run the two best satellite centres (Toodukurthy & Mudhol) individually as leave coverage of the administrators.
